An opportunity has arisen for a Reliability Engineer to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. As our Reliability Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of test rig and vehicle faults, including gathering fault data, analysis of the data, follow up faults meetings and the day-to-day management of our Issue tracking system.  With the sole aim of delivering a world-class product to our race programs.

 

Job role:

 

  • Maintain our Issue Tracking system and ensure that issues are appropriately assigned, followed up and adequately addressed by the relevant parties.
  • Work with our Operations Group and Parts Coordinator to ensure we maintain accurate parts lifing records within LifeCheck.
  • Work with our R&D group to ensure test procedures are updated to improved our test coverage based on the issue outcomes.
  • Work with the Engineering group to develop improved methodologies to reliably estimate the life of our components and assemblies.
  • Attend race and test events on an occasionally basis to support the reliability of our products.

 

You’ll have:

 

  • GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Further education including BEng in mechanical or aerospace engineering. 
  • Strong technical background in car/ system design/ operation/ build/ preparation.
  • 3D CAD experience desirable
  • Be highly organised and comfortable working under pressure.
  • Have clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours.
  • To follow and actively enforce the company’s health and Safety and HV policies.
