The internship takes at least four months and takes place full-time on site in Neuburg. In addition to unique insights into the world of motorsport, we offer fair pay and make you part of the team that brings Audi to the pinnacle of motorsports. Audi Formula Racing GmbH is a subsidiary of Audi Sport and was founded in 2022 for the brand's Formula 1 entry. A team of experts who are passionate about developing the power unit will train and support you.
The internship is currently scheduled to start in September 2026, and to apply we need your current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment and, if applicable, the examination regulations from your university as well as a current, official grade abstract. In the field of energy storage development, you will work on the key component of electric high-performance drive systems and play your part in ensuring we are able to succeed in a highly competitive environment. You will be involved in the requirements management, methods development, and all the way to the detailed design (simulation and/or construction) for HV battery concepts, HV electronics, and battery cells.Your Mission

Your Profile
- Completed basic studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable course of study
- Some experience in the high-voltage battery environment
- Advanced knowledge of CATIA V5
- Good command of German or English
- Strong implementation skills and a high level of motivation and personal initiative
- Excellent team skills
- Targeted, independent, and structured working practices
