Rally Raid Technicians

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Rally Raid programme is expanding – and we’re looking for skilled and passionate Rally Raid Technicians to join the team as we take on some of the most extreme environments on the planet.

As a Rally Raid Technician, you’ll play a key role in building, preparing, and maintaining our high-performing Ford Raptor T1+ competition cars for the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) and testing programmes. This is a hands-on, dynamic role requiring mechanical expertise, endurance, and a proactive approach, both in the Workshop and on remote event locations.  

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Build, prepare, and maintain of the current Ford Raptor T1+, as well as future developments to the high standards of reliability and performance.

  • Work both at the M-Sport HQ and on international events, providing mechanical support in challenging environments.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues under time pressure during events.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, drivers, and support crew throughout the event.

  • Working closely with engineers and senior technicians with development work.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Willingness to travel globally and work across events and test programmes.

  • Hungry to share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a motorsport environment, preferably with rally, rallycross, or racing.

  • Previous experience working on 4x4, or off-road vehicles is desirable.
