Premium Racewear Sales Manager

We are United Autosports, the Leading Endurance Race Team in the UK and we looking for our next Team Member to join us in a new role for the business. We are proud to be the UK distributor for two premium racewear brands HRX and Schuberth. We have recently overhauled our processes and are looking for our next team member to join and take the lead for this very exciting opportunity to earn uncapped commission (paid annually) in one of the coolest industries on the planet. The opportunity within this role is huge. The right person will be hungry, self motivated and driven to succeed. While it is a sales role, the opportunity to turn this into something bigger, something really significant in itself is absolutely there. But it is serious. It is complex and you are going to need to be an agile, conscientious plate spinner who understands how motorsport works. Selling racewear is one thing, selling premium racewear is another. Selling totally bespoke premium racewear is a completely different ball game. It is relentless. It is demanding. It is complex. But – the rewards are worth the effort. With uncapped commission opportunity offering products that are known and trusted as the sole UK distributor for these premium brands, the sky is the limit.

  

While there is a good foundation of organic sales, it is the time to grow, and we need you to hit the ground running. You will have central support for some aspects of the operation but you will be the central, accountable person in this exciting position.

 

As an individual you will be used to working in sales with a minimum of 5 years proven success, you will also be highly tenacious, resilient and creative with a strong commercial understanding. You will be a natural sales person, charismatic, clever, ambitious and a do-er. You won’t have any ego about dealing with the little issues through to dealing with the owners of race teams, drivers and iconic names within the motorsport space because every aspect of what we do feeds our highly reputable brand and reputation. You will drive innovation and efficiency in how we work, while we have and are improving our processes there is always room for improvement.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Creating and building relationships and opportunities across all areas of potential revenue generation for these two premium brands driving sales and customer satisfaction up and up
  • Nurturing the prospecting and ongoing relationships with our valued customer base
  • Creating and managing a database that can be operationalised and used to help manage potential leads efficiently and proactively
  • Building trust and mutually agreeable relationships
  • Proactive and dynamic management of prospecting and opportunity management
  • Protecting and nurturing the high integrity brand of United Autosports and its interests through delivering good business in a thoughtful and honourable way
  • Adept at understanding and using data and your implicit experience to qualify opportunities in an efficient manner
  • Run these diversified interests as individual commercial entities developing them into significant revenue streams and standalone businesses in their own right
  • You will take ownership for building and promoting these brands

 

 

You will:

 

  • Be competent in communication, influencing and stakeholder management
  • Have experience of selling premium products, bespoke premium products within the motorsport industry
  • Treat all potential customers, sponsors, clients with respect, integrity and a positive attitude
  • Be dynamic but patient, proactive but thoughtful, considered and present and be tenacious
  • Be resilient and persistent, organised, efficient with a keen eye for opportunities and detail
  • Be able to attend most days at the United Autosports headquarters and be available to attend race events, trade shows etc as required
  • Understand that the opportunity will grow and grow and as such the level or accountability and responsibility will evolve and increase
  • Be fluent in English and Italian
  • Be based in Yorkshire at head office and understand there will be significant travel involved both within the UK and further afield.
