About the Team:
You will be joining a well-organised, established and autonomous site senior management team reporting directly into the plant manager. This team covers all aspects of plant management including Quality, HR, HSE, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Finance. As a team, they have a strong dynamic, working well together, recognising each other's strengths, and guiding the plant to achieve its business targets, while engaging the workforce to be part of that achievement.
The plant itself forms part of the electronics and ADAS division with a portfolio covering Tier 1 automotive supply of the latest technology, including cameras, radars, ECUs, and more.
What you can look forward to as Logistics Manager:
- Leading the on-site team covering the following key areas: Customer/Production Planning/Inbound Material Planning (Supplier)/ Logistics Operations
- Ensuring that all customer schedules are received and converted into an achievable production plan and supplier schedules are clearly communicated and adhered to, escalating where appropriate, as well as managing all on-site logistics functions
- Liaising closely with your peers, along with supporting both divisional and group-driven activities
- Working on many varied projects with some examples including Inventory Reduction, Digitalisation, Consignment Introduction, you will lead these from a plant level with support of a cross-divisional team
Your profile as Logistics Manager:
- Degree level or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of experience in similar roles
- SAP knowledge preferred but other MRP acceptable, MS Office, Data Analysis, Project Management
- Supply Chain Knowledge and experience in a large fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
- Develop and engage the team, encouraging autonomy at all levels
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and delegate accordingly
- A good communicator at all levels including stakeholder engagement
