Job Summary:

As part of the Supply Chain Organization and under the Supervision of the Shipping Receiving lead, the S&R Specialist will be responsible for all activities related to the receipt and processing of incoming goods into inventory using Fibreworks ERP system, prepare, package and ship finished goods to customers, and schedule the pickup and delivery of Fibreworks goods to outside vendors. Work closely with the Inventory Lead on Put-away tasks and properly moving inventory through our facility. The S&R specialist would learn FWC and CF shipping receiving and inventory processes to act as a backup to the Receiving Lead when required.

Job Role:

Shipping and Receiving 90%

  • Working with the Shipping and Receiving Lead to coordinate the preparation and package of goods for shipments, ensuring FIFO
  • Ship products ensuring all documentation meets regulatory requirements (DOT/HAZMAT)
  • Communicate with QC and planning teams to ensure shipping and staging of products
  • Unpack, inspect, identify (label) and ensure proper storage of all received products, materials and supplies
  • Load and unload truck, engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
  • Documents and report damages and discrepancies for future processing and reconciliation
  • Using ERP, ensures all shipping and receiving transactions, bill of ladings, packing slips are properly filled and stored in the Network for accounting
  • Ensure all Returned Goods (RMA’s) and Intercompany transfers are properly processed through the ERP
  • Maintain a clean and organized dock area
  • Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies

Inventory Other responsibilities/duties as assigned 10%

  • Assists on the packing of products for final shipments
  • Put away materials to proper locations
  • Participate when required on weekly /monthly/quarterly accurate cycle counts and physical Inventory
  • Attend required company trainings and meetings

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • 2-year degree preferred or High School diploma
  • 2-year Experience on Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with computers and previous experience with ERP systems
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to work with different departments in the company
  • Able to operate forklift
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Available weekends and holidays as scheduled by management
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Regular Hours of Work:

Normal Business Hours 7:00AM – 4:00PM, Mon-Fri; Weekends, Holidays and work hours as scheduled by Management.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
  • Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
  • Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
