Coordinator, Heritage and F1 Storage

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract  

Contract Duration: 18 months

Purpose of the Role: Reporting in to the IndyCar and Heritage Ops Director with referral to F1 Production Director, to support the Heritage and F1 Logistics teams in creating accurate stock records and control of Heritage and F1 archived parts using latest MRL stock control operating systems, applying sift and sort policy to this process, preparing for then executing the move to new storage facilities.

Role Dimensions: This is a fixed term contract position that is UK based working with the Heritage and F1 Logistics teams.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Audit and record all Heritage and F1 archive stock
  • Engage all stakeholders currently using storage facility to action sift and sort within defined timeline
  • With correct support, evaluate stock items for store or dispose decision
  • Review and employ future proof storage methods and practises
  • Prepare all stock for alternative storage facility move
  • Support ongoing Heritage operations with supply of non-proprietary parts and consumables
  • Assist in applying and maintain standard MRL stock control operating systems to Heritage function
  • Ensure department adherence to process & procedures and alignment to business needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience of Javelin stock control system
  • Ability to work to deadlines with conflicting priorities.
  • Extensive knowledge of race car components, assemblies and equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge or race car manufacturing tooling and equipment
  • Has participated in a team-oriented environment.
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Javelin ERP software
