We are seeking an experienced Testing & Development Technician to join the MARTIN team.
The Testing & Development Technician is responsible for conducting tests and providing support to engineers. The Technician is responsible for providing technical information to MARTIN’s Automotive Testing groups. The main responsibilities of this position are to ensure the daily activities required for testing, research, development, reporting and production launches are met. Primary duties include the following:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and support final test reports for our customers
- Support Test lab Engineers and Project Manager to maximize efficiency
- Provide technical support and coordination with cross functional teams to meet project timing
- Assist in developing equipment specs and fixture design to meet customer requirements.
- Support 5S, Safety, Quality, and Process Improvements
- Assist in key decisions for test stand upgrades, equipment and supplies
- Support timing for engineering activities necessary to meet key milestones and overall program timelines.
- Ensure all program goals and objectives are met
- Review department KPIs and perform necessary actions for improvements
- Provide technical support to our customers during vehicle development, launch, and production phases
- Communicate customer needs and concerns both verbally and written
- Actively interface with other engineering, manufacturing and sales functions within the organization
- Responsible for following all global procedures
