JOB DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, with 3+ years of experience within an automotive manufacturing environment a plus.
- Plastics experience helpful.
This position will be heavily involved in lean manufacturing activities in the plant. Activities to include Kaizen events (participating and leading), pull systems, cell layout, 5S, standard work, and work loading charts to maximize the efficient use of labor, material, and machines.
