Based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for an Strategic Purchase & Supplier Management Specialist to join our team.
Main task
- Managing and negotiating supplier contract terms of agreement with coordinating key suppliers communication
- Evaluating the performance of suppliers against criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, ability to innovate and financial stability
- Developing and implementing procurement strategy for cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency
- Locating and maintaining suppliers chain structure for the components, materials and services a company needs
- Analyzing price and material market data with regular reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Logistics or similar education in relevant field
- Work experience as a Purchase Specialist or Strategic Purchase
- Good communication skills in English are essential
- Knowledge of MS Office and SAP (ERP)
- Ability to perform with intensive communication and high pressure in a team
