Job Role: Quality Engineer

Location: Northampton

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 DOE

Hours: 8:00-16:00 Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays

The Role:

Ensure that any quality issues are discussed with the client, investigated and then rectified in a timely manner

Gather quantitative and qualitative feedback from clients on the quality of products supplied

Carry out 8D reports to carry out problem solving analysis to improve the quality of products supplied to clients

Travel to client premises nationwide as the face of the company to ensure that all customer requirements are met efficiently

Carry out quality audits in accordance to the ISO9001 certification guidelines, ensuring that all audits are carried out thoroughly and efficiently

Manage relationships with both existing and prospective clients, liaising with them to offer a high level of service

Create, manage and enforce health and safety policies and procedures for the company

The Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer within the Automotive industry (essential)

Previous experience in customer facing roles, with great customer service skills (essential)

Knowledge of 8D reporting (essential)

Previous experience liaising with a variety of different stakeholders (essential)

Knowledge of ISO9001 (advantageous)

Previous experience working within the window/glass industries (advantageous)

Relevant qualifications within quality and/or engineering (advantageous)

Full UK Driving License Required.
