Position: - iOS Developer
Job Summary:
This position is a key member of Fisker’s core software team and will be responsible for short development cycles and frequent updates to public-facing mobile applications. This position should have a good understanding of mobile applications development.
Essential Functions:
- Designs and implements iOS mobile applications.
- Performs application development, unit testing, support to QA, and production support
- Provides and adheres to best practices for Android mobile application development
- Develops/maintains build systems, tools, and reusable components
- Gathers functional requirements to generate technical design specifications and build mobile applications
- Other duties as required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design or a directly related field from an accredited college or university
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experienced iOS developer with 4+ years experience with XCODE and SWIFT
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Exposure to iOS Framework development
- Experience building modular applications, and understanding of modular clean architecture
- Basic understanding of mobile application CI/CD
- Worked on at least one publicly available app (please provide link to the app(s) via Apple App Store)
- Expertise in object-oriented design data structures algorithm design problem solving complexity analysis and debugging
- Expertise in architecture/design/develop highly performant iOS applications
- Knowledge of SQLite MySQL or similar database management system
- Experience with web service integration (REST JSON XML)
- Experience of development using web technologies
