Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE

Location: Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire

Hours: 9.00-17.30 Monday to Friday

The Role:

Design and develop detailed electrical and control systems, circuit diagrams and schematics for heavy lifting equipment.

Ensure all electrical designs and completed in line with European directives, safety standards and legislation.

Install, commission, test and operate equipment in both the workshop and out in the field, providing technical support to project stakeholders and clients where required.

Carry out feasibility studies for new equipment designs, ensuring all projects are feasible.

Design and deliver training programs for clients, detailing through how to use, service and repair equipment.

Carry out routine and corrective maintenance on the on-site machinery where required.

You may have to travel nationwide and internationally to suit business needs, this will be paid for.

The Requirements:

Qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering (essential)

Minimum 5 years of experience designing and building electrical systems (essential)

Previous experience with 400v AC power circuits and 24V DC circuits (essential)

Proven ability and knowledge in electrical design software (essential)

Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical principles, codes and standards (essential)

Proven ability to program PLC systems (advantageous)

Previous experience working with hydraulic systems (advantageous)

Full UK Driving Licence and Passport required
