Your tasks:
- manage the buying process in line with specified project budget, quality, quantity and delivery target
- identify, select and develop competitive suppliers, negotiate prices, improve costs and terms of business
- support engineering with material specification and evaluate new technologies for new, current and revised parts and assemblies
- take “make or buy” decisions based on an efficient utilization of internal production areas
The successful candidate will:
- have professional qualification/degree and relevant working experience (preferably automotive and/or supplying industry)
- show the ability to read and understand technical drawings
- have a structured, independent working method and distinctive communication, organisation, planning and negotiation skills as well as assertiveness
