About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity in our Marketing Team for a Visual Brand Manager.

This role will work to develop and deliver the Team’s new brand identity. In this newly created role, you will be core to delivering the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team brand identity. Working with the Marketing Department to develop our brand identity and manage its roll out, ensuring consistency across all touch points.

The successful candidate will be passionate about sports marketing and branding, a cool pair of hands that can strike the right balance between delivering on existing brand constraints while also bending to the speed and development of a world-leading sports team. You will be working with our partner ecosystem and stakeholders to ensure their alignment and positive engagement with our team identity.

As our Visual Brand Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Be a key player of an active, engaged, enthusiastic team focused on the delivery of clear objectives.

  • Working with the Senior Brand Identity Manager to constantly refine, develop and grow our team brand identity.

  • Creator and gatekeeper of team branding and style guidelines, educating internal and external audiences on the use of the brand identity and implementation onto marketing and company assets.

  • Managing the rollout of the team’s visual identity onto all materials and assets, working with different sub teams to ensure timely and consistent roll out. Choosing the correct brand identity visualisation depending on the use and audience.

  • Development of logo variants and lock up logos for use by our Stakeholders and Partners.

  • Identifying new areas internally and externally that need a rebrand in the physical and digital spaces.

  • Take an active role in constantly evaluating and developing visual strategies for the team, keeping an active eye on the Mercedes-Benz and Partner Brands ensuring all work together in harmony.

  • Monitoring the latest trends and developments in Sports Brands to ensure the team’s activities are leading edge.

  • Working with our Insights team to monitor the teams brand recognition and ensure all activities are aligned to the brand identity and perform against the brand values.

  • Working as part of the team onboarding new partners, creating and giving presentations on our brand visual identity.

To be successful you will have:

  • Marketing degree educated, or equivalent.

  • Relationship Management Skills.

  • Strong understanding and experience of brand identity management.

  • Experience of rolling out a visual brand identity.

  • Experience of working within a creative or brand sub team in a marketing department.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team mindset.

  • Acute attention to detail and delivering consistently to high brand standards.

  • Thrives working in a fast-paced and pressurised environment with high levels of drive and enthusiasm, multi-tasking across numerous ongoing projects.

  • Organised, with good time management skills.

  • Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a ‘can do’ team attitude.
