Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated entry-level Software Engineer to join our growing team working to build the next generation of data tools and technologies for Red Bull Powertrains.
Working within the Technology & Analysis Tools department from our Milton Keynes campus, our mission is to develop the technology to enable our engineers to develop championship winning Formula 1 Power Units. This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the technology that will define the way we interact with and exploit Power Unit data in the future.

Your impact:
- Build analysis systems for data from simulations, rigs, engine dynos, test benches and around the campus.
- Design, build and maintain applications used to improve power unit performance.
- Participate in architecture, design and code reviews, providing and accepting constructive feedback.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of software engineers and engineers throughout the Power Unit thermodynamics, validation and trackside operations departments.
You will:
- Be educated to degree level or equivalent within Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field.
- Possess a solid grasp of fundamental computer science concepts and have a track record of solving complex problems.
- Have experience in software development with C#.
- Be able to maintain our high standards for code quality, unit testing, maintainability and performance.
- Have excellent communication skills.
Bonus points for:
- Being interested in Formula 1 racing!
- Having knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Being familiar with container orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
- Having proficiency with technologies such as GraphQL or Apache Arrow.
