About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Ledger Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of Accounts Payable, VIK accounts and some balance sheet accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day to day management of Accounts Payable and reviewing unposted invoices to ensure that they are paid on time

Responsible for a variety of month-end balance sheet accounts including hotel prepayments.

Posting and reconciling the company credit card accounts, including calculating and posting the month-end accrual.

Acting as a primary point of contact in the business for queries relating to Concur and expenses.

Responsible for the invoicing of VIK balances both in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Posting accruals and prepayments to support the finance streamlining project.
To be successful you will have:

AAT or equivalent qualification.

Experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent data analysis skills.

Strong communicational skills.
-
Can work independently and is a self-starter.
In addition, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and disciplined with a high attention to detail. Strong data analysis skills and the ability to communicate and present information clearly and succinctly are also important for this role.
