The individual will work as a mechanic in the shop and at the race track. The mechanic will assemble and disassemble the race cars and work to prepare them for the race weekend. The mechanic must be versatile to work on all aspects of a race car with focus on front, rear and/or mid sections. At the race track the mechanic will prepare the car for the track by making necessary changes when instructed. As a mechanic the individual will ensure that all components of the car are secured.

• Understand use and wear required PPE within assigned production work area/position.
• Ability to read and follow aircraft blueprint drawings and process specifications
• Familiar with and ability to accurately use basic hand tools including torque wrenches, measuring devices (micrometers), and safety wire pliers
• Ability to accurately perform installations per blueprint requirements
• Ability to accurately install various types of threaded fasteners using required tooling
General Summary:
The Aircraft Technician, GSO Service Center works within an established FAR 145 Repair Station and is responsible for assigned maintenance tasks and associated inspections, functional/operational checks, and troubleshooting affected aircraft systems.
