Responsibilities includes performing engine testing using a dynamometer to verify the performance and reliability of HPD’s engines by prioritizing tasks, operating an engine dynamometer, performing test cell programming and calibration settings, cell maintenance and calibrations, set-up of special instrumentation and test result analysis.

Responsibilities for this position will pertain to development department’s projects, testing, and relevant communications. Projects will be led by this individual from conception to completion and will involve significant planning, report-writing, coordination, and data analysis. This position additionally requires the operation of test equipment and machinery to conduct tests designed by the individual in this role. They will be required to research and develop engine improvements on the core engine and to ancillary components and assemblies.

Responsibilities includes providing efficient testing and evaluation of engines, chassis drivetrain, components, and electrical systems including cell preparation, installing and removing jigs and fixtures from engines, and dyno; testing engines and maintaining testing equipment and support systems that ensures consistency, efficiency, quality, and testing standards are met.
