Alpine F1 Team have a new opportunity to join our growing Finance team. We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.
In the role of Finance Analyst you will be working within our busy Finance department based at Enstone, Oxfordshire.
Finance Analyst – The Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A and Business Partnering, this role will provide support to the Financial Planning & Analysis function on key deliverables to drive financial performance for the team.
Key accountabilities are:
- Business partnering support (variance analysis & forecasting) for departmental operating expenses, including data analysis and reporting.
- Support Car-Build data analysis & challenge to help improve insight, while also collaborating with the team on cost saving and supply chain initiatives, and trend analysis over multiple car programmes.
- Assist with Capital Expenditure investment demands (planning, forecasting, commercial reviews, supplier and leasing agreements).
- Cost Cap forecast and submission support; including reviews and analysis for various departments.
- Finance Committee support to maintain and improve governance.
- Assist adhoc projects including Finance transformation agenda on systems, strategic reviews etc.
Finance Analyst – The Person
We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:
- Enthusiastic, organised and diligent
- Proactive and committed with a desire to develop within your accounting career
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to interact and build effective relationships across the team, and work independently when required
- Excellent attention to detail
In terms of your technical skills, you will:
- Be qualified or working towards completion of CIMA/ACCA/AAT
- Possess strong MS Excel skills
- Previous experience of financial accounting in a similar role is advantageous
