As an Electrified Powertrain Development Engineer, you will work closely with customers to develop, test and optimise the performance of electrified powertrains for future vehicle programs.
Furthermore, you will be expected to take ownership for planning and executing test work primarily on developmental rigs, providing clear and concise data analysis and reporting/recommendations to customer teams (focused but not limited to EDU, Electric Motor, Power Electronics).
In your first few weeks in this Electrified Powertrain Development Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Be responsible for the testing campaign from requirement definition to data analysis and reporting.
- Supervise the testing facility set up, to ensure Rig and Unit Under Test fulfill requirement.
- Offer on-site support as appropriate to monitor and ensure good delivery of testing.
- Manage data processing and data analysis that will be used to make engineering decisions.
- Compile daily summary updates on project and testing status to all project stakeholders.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical, Automotive, etc).
- Experience in powertrain development or testing.
- Electric Drive Unit and battery experience/knowledge.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to summarise and make clear technical recommendations across multifunctional disciplines with supporting data.
- The ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal.
