For 30 years bf1systems have been at the forefront of supplying electronic and electrical solutions to motorsport and the high end automotive sector. Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a permanent, full time, Technical Sales Engineer to join the team, based at our site in Diss.
The purpose of this role is to work as part of the Sales team, with existing and prospective customers, on new and future opportunities. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team, taking enquiries from customers, understanding the requirements, relaying these internally and ultimately helping to ensure a successful delivery for the customer.
The role involves:
• Supporting customers with technical and sales enquiries
• Technical support of company products
• Assisting with marketing, advertising, and promotion planning
• Creating and updating customer facing documentation
• Assisting with presentations and proposal writing
Successful candidates will have a technical background with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a technical or technical sales role within the motorsport or automotive industry, along with some customer facing experience. They must also be degree educated or equivalent, preferably in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, the individual to be self-driven, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The role will require substantial international travel.
