Talent Management Lead

We are looking for a Talent Management Lead who will work within the HR team, partner with HRBPS, Leaders, and Managers to design and deliver talent initiatives that facilitate performance gains for our team.

The Talent Management lead is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of talent management strategies across the organisation. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and retaining top talent.

As the Talent Management Lead, you will:

  • Scope, design and implement the talent review process across all levels of the organisation.

  • Liaise with HRBP’s and functional leads to ensure best practice approach

  • Create initiatives that identify, develop, and retain diverse talent that meets the needs of our business - both now and in the future.

  • Provide insight on critical talent pools and work with the Talent Acquisition team to develop talent pipelines in and out of the business.

  • Work with HRBPs and functional leads to design career mapping approaches and toolkits to enable greater career development opportunities.

  • Ensure that realistic succession plans are up to date, and a calibration process is in place.

  • Support the performance management cycle across each department, providing process expertise and toolkits to embed our high-performance culture at all levels of the organisation.

  • Monitor and analyse talent trends linked to overall people strategy objectives.

  • Support the implementation and delivery of diverse talent programmes working closely with the Leadership Development Manager.

  • The opportunity to participate in department-wide initiatives outside the core Talent Management processes such as EDI and employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience owning, designing, and implementing a talent management process at all levels of the organisation.

  • Experience building strong partnerships to deliver creative and innovative solutions fit for business needs.

  • Experience working with talent data to inform talent pipelining and development needs.

  • Ability to generate buy in/build credibility at functional level for the talent strategy and recommended actions.

  • Strong interpersonal & influencing skills, with ability to build solid relationships to gain credibility with managers.

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork
