An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join the Jaguar TCS Racing department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. The purpose of the role is to work with the Lead electrical build and support technician to ensure all electrical operations and equipment are in line with requirements.

 

Job role:

 

  • To manufacture electrical harnesses and other electrical assemblies.
  • Ensure that all assemblies are built to a build procedure and that build checklists (where applicable) are completed and are visible for inspection. 
  • To assemble and disassemble as required race/test cars and components, ensuring they are built to the agreed standards and that any discrepancies are highlighted and agreed.
  • To ensure that all faults are reported.
  • Attend Race, Test or PR events as required.
  • Complete tasks given within allowable time frames.
  • Proactively support others to complete their tasks.
  • Occasionally work longer and unsociable hours, when required.
  • Record and work with department performance measures to identify the cause of any downtime or delays.
  • Assist in Identify ways to improve the department and personnel performance.
  • Maintain positive relationships with all other factory departments and team Personnel. 
  • Maintain high standard of staff and department presentation.

 

You’ll have:

 

  • Electrical Harness build experience essential
  • Familiar with system 25, autosport connectors, fine gauge wiring
  • Previous motorsports experience essential

This role will include working at the head office in Grove until an office move to Kidlington in spring 2024.
