Brake Engineer
Would you like to
- work in our Tyre & Brake Performance group being the lead Brake Engineer?
- work closely with the thermal group as well as the vehicle concept group to provide development targets and expectations for future cars?
- evaluate and quantify changes in the braking-system and car parameters on braking performance?
- work together with the race team and provide predictions of the braking performance prior to the event as well as analysing the performance during and after the events?
- Identify brake model parameters and assess the model correlation by using dyno data as well as onboard sensor data?
- further develop existing methods and tools by adding your own expertise to it?
- work closely with the brake supplier to define targets for future braking systems?
Do you have
- a MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering or related field?
- very high level of experience in the field of braking performance and conceptional work on brake development?
- very good understanding of the interaction between brakes and full vehicle?
- a high-level of expertise in Matlab (Python and C++ would also be desirable)?
- strong English (verbal and written) language skills?
