Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E. The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team. 

Job description:
We have an opportunity for an ADM Technician to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts using a variety of rapid prototyping technologies. You will work closely with design engineers to create prototype parts for Wind Tunnel testing and the full-size race car.. Principal Accountabilities:

  • Operate and maintain 3D printers, and other rapid prototyping equipment.
  • Planning and Programming SLA builds.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to produce RP parts for Wind Tunnel testing.
  • Maintaining the workflow of the rapid prototyping department.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make repairs as necessary.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, particularly related to RP builds.
  • Work with design teams and engineers to determine material specifications and requirements.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure on time delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an ADM department (Motorsports is preferable).
  • A broad knowledge across multiple ADM technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with design engineers.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to perform duties in a timely manner with minimal errors.
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
