Fibreworks Composites was founded in 2009 and is privately owned by Guenther Steiner and Joe Hofmann. In 2019 Joe and Guenther decided to launch an AS9100 / ISO certified sister company called Composite Factory. Composite Factory’s primary focus is to diversify our business into Aerospace, Aero structures, Aviation and Defense, and the Medical industries that require a higher level of traceability and certification. Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Inventory and Shipping Receiving Lead, work as a flexible resource to the Inventory and Shipping Receiving departments with a variety of tasks to include the transport of products, materials and others between companies and vendors.

Job Role:

INVENTORY/S&R: 90%

  • Perform receiving, storage, picking, checking, and loading duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Assist with material pulling and kitting, loading and unloading of product
  • Assist with storage of goods
  • Assist with Cycle counts
  • Assist NG7 Specialist on staging of orders
  • Assist with packaging/unpacking and shipping of goods
  • Able to train on our FWC ERP to make basic transactions necessary to maintain accurate records and inventory
  • Operate various warehouse equipment to include pallet jack, forklift, etc.
  • Comply with all applicable safety procedures and report unsafe equipment conditions or potential safety hazards to Team Leader or appropriate resource
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area, participate in weekly housekeeping
  • Notify Inventory Leader or other appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
  • Participate actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs
  • Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
  • Other tasks as required

LOGISTICS 10%

On an “as needed “basis:

  • Safely transporting goods to and from specified locations in a timely manner
  • Ensure the load is properly secure at all times
  • Ensure any proprietary material is not visible
  • Loading and unloading of goods
  • Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
  • Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours
  • Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and daily vehicle maintenance
  • Report any maintenance issues to Maintenance Manager
  • Maintaining fuel levels and receipts
  • Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s coming and goings
  • Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of local roads and routes
  • The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals
  • Effective communication and computer skills
  • Previous S&R experience advantageous
  • Punctual and reliable, able to work under pressure in rapidly changing environment, maintaining professionalism.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Job Type:

Non-exempt, full time

Regular Hours of Work:

Normal Business Hours 7:00AM – 4:00PM, Mon-Fri; Weekends, Holidays and work hours as scheduled by Management.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor activities with varying conditions
  • Requires walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • May involve operating material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Work may include exposure to variable noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, etc., requiring personal protective equipment
  • Some positions may require working with small parts/components, necessitating excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
