Job Purpose

Production Engineering Technical Associate are responsible for maintenance and continuous improvements to all production equipment while following all safety procedures. Support all production departments in achieving SEQCDM targets with a focus on improving MTTR and MTBF.

Pay

Starting pay $32.20 - $37.20 per hour

Key Accountabilities

  • Make sure downtime is entered into Maximo.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve or exceed SEQCDM targets.
  • Inform your T/C or T/L when trigger points are exceeded.
  • Responds immediately to emergency downtime.
  • Assists all lines throughout the department as required.
  • Suggests and implement approved ideas that reduce potential for repeat downtime.
  • Keep the E.S. area floors, shelves, and tables clean and organized.
  • Take responsibility to perform follow up jobs and PMs daily.
  • Take assigned training classes to further technical abilities.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent

Minimum Experience:

  • Equipment Service Experience (6 Months)
  • Prefer 2-year technical degree or 2 years relevant experience if no degree.

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in different environments and temperatures both inside and outside of the plant.
  • Ability to trouble shoot different type of machines by finding information in manuals.
  • Ability to investigate part cost for repair.
  • Ability to read mechanical prints.
  • Intermediate computer skills for creation of documents, presentations, and studies to present information to management

Working Conditions

  • Some overtime may be required to support quality or delivery issues.
  • May request small amount of travel for certain training or new model events.
