ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The company is based in Milton Keynes and supplies all types of packaging machinery to the corrugated industry, in the form of casemakers, printer slotters, folding / stitching / gluing, strappers, digital printers, digital cutting tables and diecutting equipment.

Preferably experienced in the corrugated industry, the primary role is to join our engineering & electrical team on the installation & commissioning and/or removal of both new and used packaging machinery at our customers sites. As installation / removal involves travelling on a national and international basis there is an element of time spent staying away, very occasionally including weekends and often at short notice so the ability to be flexible is an essential part of the job. The company also offer our customers a breakdown and machinery service plan which is carried out in between installations. There is also an element of electrical refurbishment of used equipment at our Milton Keynes factory.

Control panel building, wiring & testing, HMI, PLC programming skills and solid engineering / mechanical skills are essential for this role.

A fork lift licence and working at height licence would be an advantage but are not essential as qualifications can be taken once employment commences.

Hourly pay based on a 37.5 hour week (08.00 - 16.00, 15 minute tea break and 45 minute lunch break)


Overtime paid at 1.5 Monday - Saturday and 2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays
