Senior Human Resources Generalist

Pratt Miller is seeking an energetic, hands-on and knowledgeable Senior Human Resources Generalist. The HRBP is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team in supporting five locations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

This position is a hybrid role. It requires employee to be on site 2-3 days each week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications
  • Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.
  • Prepare and maintain job analysis and job description documentation
  • Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Assist in the delivery of employee development programs
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and annual open enrollment
  • Assist with annual performance management, succession planning and career development process
  • Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and filing systems.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree and five or more years of HR experience
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment/labor laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in HRIS systems preferred

This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident or ability to meet licensure requirements.
