Are you an Engineer or Technician with Mechanical knowledge looking to join a close-knit team, who will provide full training on state-of-the-art machinery, where you will progress as a high skilled Maintenance Engineer?
Do you want to be part of the next generation of maintenance engineers working within a highly automated manufacturing facility for a company that develop bespoke products within an on-site research lab and are currently going through a rapid period of growth?
This role involves reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of chemical manufacturing machinery, they have a strong culture for recognising their staff and actively encourage a Lean and continuous improvement environment.
This role would suit a Trainee or Junior Maintenance Engineer, or someone looking for an opportunity outside of the Forces, offering a variety of challenging work, on-the-job training, an opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime and progression to become a go-to technical expert.
The Role:
- Maintenance of mechanical machinery
- On-the-job training (conveyers, servos, manufacturing machines)
- Preventative (75%) and reactive maintenance (25%) in a manufacturing environment
- Fortnightly shift rotation of Early (6am - 2pm) and Lates (2pm - 10pm)
The Person:
- Trainee or Junior aspiring Maintenance Engineer
- Forces background or Engineering qualification - B-TEC, or NVQ, or HNC or HND
- Hobbies or interests or work experience of 'hands on' engineering (Can include Electrical - 3 phase, wiring, servos and Mechanical - fabricating, pumps, conveyers)
