We are looking for a IT Track Support / System Administrator (m/f/d) to be part of our works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany. Your tasks:

  • Administration, configuration and monitoring of the mobile IT infrastructure at our worldwide test and racing events on site at the race track as well as the further development and preparation of the IT infrastructure at our location in Cologne

  • Setting up and operating the network infrastructure and communication technology at the worldwide test and race events

  • Administration of all servers and clients on site at the race track

  • Ensuring the operation and troubleshooting of the central IT infrastructure

  • Implementation of IT security guidelines and patch management in the server environment (also at the race track)

  • First and second level support for users at the test and race events

 

 

The successful candidate will:

  • successfully completed training in the IT environment

  • have Initial knowledge in the support of Windows server systems as well as in the support of network components

  • have Linux knowledge (desirable)

  • have mandatory willingness to travel worldwide (25%)

  • have at least a good command of English 

  • have interest and fun in motor sports

  • enjoy problem analysis, finding solutions and have an independent and structured way of working

  • have strong communication skills, accuracy and the ability to work in a team

  • have experience in fault analysis is an advantage
