Job purpose
To assist the souvenir manager in all aspects of event planning and execution, specifically through coordinating inventory, and management of warehouse locations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provides general support at the souvenir warehouse during normal business hours
- Split and marry inventory pre and post event
- Manages inventory controls in both warehouse and retail locations
- Prepares retail locations prior to events by displaying, inventorying, and stocking items
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Follows all internal control procedures and comply with company policies.
Qualifications
All qualifications must comply with provincial human rights legislation.
Qualifications include:
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn
Working conditions
- Some travel may be required, often up to several hours of driving per day and up to 10 days at a time.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak times during the year to complete work.
- Exposure to variable weather conditions is likely.
Physical requirements
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Long periods of uninterrupted standing and walking.
