Connaught has been established since 1985 and provides a wide range of competition engines over many disciplines, race, rally and hillclimb, including Ford & Cosworth variants, Porsche, Jaguar plus historic & classic units in many forms. We also produce our own 'Warrior' 16 valve conversion cylinder head.
To support the business in developing a new portfolio of composite products in support of a growing customer demand for innovative, technically advanced components. We are looking for someone who brings a high degree of technical understanding therefore an engineering degree is essential, as is demonstrable industry experience (ideally Technology, Automotive or Motorsport). POSITION SUMMARY
Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently seeking a highly motivated student or recent graduate to build practical knowledge and gain hands-on work experience in a manufacturing environment. The Apprentice CNC Machinist will assist with the setup and operation of a computer numerical control (CNC) machine alongside an experienced machinist. They will adhere to safety and quality standards, maintain equipment and supplies, and assist with various shop activities. This is a part-time position (25-29 hours per week).
