About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Heritage Technician to join our Heritage Team. You will be responsible for working across multiple functions within our Formula One environment to ensure our Heritage cars are built and preserved in their agreed specification.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage the supervision of a small team and support training requirements.

  • Manage general events, logistics and liaison with HPP.

  • Ensure Heritage cars are built to agreed specification.

  • Manage storage of Heritage cars in conditions to prevent damage (either accidental or environmental).

  • Create inventory of each car (including life history, detailed build sheets) in a clear and logical structure.

  • Collate all necessary support equipment (including software) to ensure cars can be operated for years to come.

  • Create and implement servicing plans to keep cars in excellent running condition.

  • Ensure stock of Heritage parts is constantly updated and accurate.

  • Managing communications with global team partners and stakeholders.

  • This role involves a physical and hands-on position, so will require experience of lifting heavy components, manual handling, handling aids, and load labelling.

  • Direct and arrange the manufacture of heritage equipment.

  • Working with the latest Digital Capital Disposal system.

  • Managing a database inventory off all car equipment, service items and components from the past decade.

  • Working closely with the Teams marketing department to fulfil ad hoc event requests.

  • You will also be required to attend Race and test events as needed.

  • Demonstrates an innovative and dynamic approach to advancing Heritage operations, with the ability to proactively use initiative when appropriate.

  • Experience of working in a diverse and highly technical work environment.

  • Previous experience in Heritage motorsport desirable.

  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings.

  • Previous experience of working with car parts and logging systems, preferably SAP.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Highly self-driven and determined, with a strong focus on achieving targets and successful outcomes in a timely manner.

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with forklift operations and possessing fabrication skills.
