Build Component Logistics Coordinator

A vacancy has arisen for a Build Component Logistics Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the Build Logistics Component Team Leader.

The successful candidate will coordinate the supply of new and current components through the business to the Build departments to a defined schedule.

About the role:

  • Proactively chase components required for each event for the Build Departments through the various supporting areas (including Inspection, NDT, T&D and Composites), ensuring that all areas of the business are working to the correct priorities.

  • Generate component delivery reports to the Build Departments to enable correct resource planning for each event.

  • Ensure the New Parts List is up to date for each event and the required parts make it to the relevant event.

  • Attend Race and Test events as required in support of the programme.

  • Compile and filter shortage information from all the Build Areas and work with Planning to ensure these requirements are understood. This includes accident damage and quarantine.

  • Feedback to Planning/Purchasing any concerns with parts required for specific events so that any issues can be resolved.

  • Provide visibility of the current component supply status for each event to stakeholders.

  • Ensure SAP accuracy at all times and highlight any data discrepancies.

  • Assist in the loading of late freight for fly away races after ensuring that all parts required have been through the correct pre-fit processes.

  • Contribute to Build Department Meetings.

  • Comply at all time with the companies Health & Safety polices.

To be successful you will have:

SAP experience is required and some motorsport experience is desirable. A good understanding of processes and procedures and to have strong communication and people skills.

Flexibility in hours and a can-do approach is required, along with the ability to work in a team, under high pressure and to strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
