Alpine F1 Team have a unique opportunity to join our Finance team, partnering directly with our Sales, Marketing and Communications Team.

In the role of Commercial Finance Business Partner you will be working with our Finance & Commercial Teams based at Enstone, Oxfordshire.

Commercial Finance Business Partner – The Role

Reporting to the Head of FP&A and Business Partnering, this role will provide finance business partner support to the Commercial functions (Sales, Marketing & Communications) to help drive financial performance.  This will include monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and supporting business cases and commercial initiatives.

Key accountabilities are:

  • Act as principal Finance Business Partner for Acquisitions, Marketing & Communications. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and deliver trusted support.
  • Revenue, pipeline and retention analysis with monitoring of opportunities & risks.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve commercial performance and drive income growth, by supporting initiatives such as VIP packages, events, and activations.
  • Support cost improvement / efficiency programs and identify opportunities for actions to support budget challenges.
  • Drive finance processes and business support, improve compliance with internal controls and company policies, and help to minimise commercial risks.
  • Support & review new sponsor contracts & challenge commercial agreements, work with Acquisitions and Legal in effective delivery to tight deadlines.
  • Act as primary point of contact for Finance-Commercial liaison, drive the push for direct collaboration between teams.

Commercial Finance Business Partner – The Person

  • Strong planning and organising skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule and work within agreed timescales

In terms of your technical skills, you will:

  • Have or be working towards completion of your CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification.
  • Understanding of management information systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and strong MS Excel skills
  • Previous experience of financial accounting in a similar role is advantageous.
