THE ROLE
We’re looking to appoint a Junior Fabricator to work alongside our team of highly skilled Fabricators in our busy Fabrications department. Developing alongside our experienced team, you’ll gain skills and responsibilities with performance and high-quality workmanship. As the role evolves, there may also be an opportunity for international travel opportunity for worldwide travel to motorsport events.
The role and responsibilities include:

Fabricating items and sub-assemblies onto competition car rollcages.

Fabrication and welding of components in thin gauge steels and aluminium.

Setting up and operating fabrication workshop machinery – Guillotines/ Presses/ Folders.

Cutting and shaping materials using grinders/ oxy fuel/ plasma processes.

Fabricating jigs and fixtures.
-
Preparation and assembly of parts for WRC events and other motorsport programmes.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You should obtain a Level 3 certificate or equivalent qualification in Fabrication and Welding.
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
You should be able to undertake basic Mig and Tig welding tasks with minimum guidance, and be able to read and understand engineering drawings as well as having an understanding of basic inspection and measurement tools.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail, with good communication skills, and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
