The Formula E Program Manager, reporting directly to the Battery Business Line Manager, will be responsible to coordinate our Formula E battery system project across four key areas: Design, Production, Trackside Operations, and Aftersales.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Lead a multidisciplinary program team consisting of Design, Production, Trackside, and Aftersales specialists collaborating with all company functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact between different project areas and stakeholders
- Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing challenges to keep the project on track.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to company top management and other relevant parties
- Work closely with the Project Planner to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal productivity across all project phases.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams members to meet project requirements within budget constraints.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and compliance.
During the events:
- Coordinate with the Trackside Support team to ensure efficient setup and operation of battery systems at each race venue.
- Serve as the primary technical authority on-site, providing expertise on the battery system's functionality, performance, and safety
- Manage track side engineers and HV engineers supporting the team during the event
- Ensure proper technical reporting to the product development team responsible to solve product related issues and update the product
- Serve as the primary contact on-site for stakeholders (Governing Body, Promoter)
Requirements:
MUST HAVE
- Experience in managing highly complex projects.
- Experience in managing a cross functional team
- Experience in managing budgets and analytical decision making approach
- Previous experience in Motorsport environment
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous experience in Formula E is preferable.
- Good understanding of Battery Systems and key performance parameters and safety related aspects
