F1 DRIVE – London is part of a long-term partnership between F1 and Tottenham Hotspur, announced earlier this year, and will be the world’s first in-stadium electric karting facility and London’s most exciting indoor karting track.
The fully-electric karting experience will support Formula 1’s drive for greater access and opportunity to the lower levels of motorsport, and through the partnership both F1 and Tottenham Hotspur will explore ways to promote diversity and inclusion within the motorsport industry.
Thanks to the space afforded by the retractable pitch at the state-of-the art stadium, the kart track will be housed in a unique position underneath the stadium’s iconic single-tier South Stand. Here, budding drivers will get behind the wheel of the new, bespoke electric karts to try their hand at one of three track layouts.
Built by leading track engineers to deliver high speed, exciting racing, the track – which is accredited by the National Karting Association – will open its doors to the public later this year.
