Transport Planner - Thatcham - Up to 42k
Our client, a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy based in West Berkshire, is seeking a Transport Planner to join them in their Thatcham office.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of transport plans and strategies. With a focus on Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing transport plans and strategies
- Preparing Transport Statements and Assessments
- Creating Travel Plans to promote sustainable transport options
- Analysing transport data and identifying improvement opportunities
- Liaising with stakeholders to gather information and address concerns
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated transport solutions
- Providing expert advice and guidance on transport planning matters
- Keeping up to date with industry regulations and best practices
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in Transport Planning
- Strong knowledge of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, and Travel Plans
- Understanding of sustainable transport principles
- Proficiency in analysing transport data and using relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable
