Alpine F1 Team have an opportunity to join our Health & Safety Team, working directly on key projects for health and safety compliance.  We are looking to add to our excellent team with individuals who are motivated to significantly contribute to our relentless pursuit of excellence – and ultimately a championship contending team.

 

In the role of Health & Safety Programme Manager you will be based at our facility in Enstone, Oxfordshire.  This position is initially for a period of 12 months on a Fixed Term basis. 

 

Health & Safety Programme Manager - The Role

Reporting to the Head of Facilities, this role will take control of and deliver Health & Safety targeted projects across the organisation.  You will work with all functions of the business to ensure smooth delivery and ongoing improvements in relation to our Health & Safety Programme.

 

Key accountabilities are:

 

  • To achieve world class Health and Safety performance and standards across the project scope
  • Play a key role in developing a positive and effective Health & Safety culture across the business
  • Be responsible for the implementation of ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management
  • Provide operational Health & Safety advice to the team, Managers & employees on the practical implementation of the company’s Health & Safety policies and processes including external stakeholders if necessary
  • Promote and capture best practice ensuring it is fed-back into the business, parent companies and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Set and implement standards and lead by example in the management of Health and Safety

 

Health & Safety Programme Manager - The Person 

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

  • Effective communicator internally and externally

 

In terms of your technical skills, you will have:

  • NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
  • Project Management & Delivery experience
  • Experience of delivering ISO 45001 in a technical, R&D environment
  • Experience in developing and deploying bespoke eLearning training packages
