Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Days or lates Monday to Friday (Either 7am 3:15pm or 3pm 11:15pm)
Salary - £31000 - £32,000 on days or £33,852 - £35,000 on lates
My client based in Troon is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team of engineers, due to company success and expansion. This is a days based role, working Monday to Friday either 7am - 3:15pm or 3pm - 11:15pm (you will earn a higher base salary as advertised above for the later shift). Duties include:
- Carry out reactive and proactive maintenance safely on production plant and equipment ensuring production (and site) downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time every time
- Install new equipment where required
- Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company s equipment
- Active participation in continuous improvement activities and projects when required
Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer must be time served with a level 3 qualification
- Electrical bias preferred - Mechanical candidates with an electrical qualification welcome to apply
- Have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering
- Open to backgrounds, including candidates from the forces (Army, Navy, RAF)
- Must have an eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic
