We have a position within our team as an Electronics Production Technician. This position will be within our Engineering Office based in Enstone making a significant contribution to on track Electronics.
Electronics Production Technician – The Role
Working within a varied and time pressured environment, this role will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance and testing of PCBs and sensor assemblies for on and off-car use that meet the extremely high standards and quality requirements of the team. The role will also include close collaboration with the design group to progress PCB and sensor prototype builds, testing and development. You will also play an active role in Electronics fault investigations, permanent rectifications and temporary solutions to improve overall reliability, ensuring a first class service is delivered to the team.
This role requires extensive experience in PCB assembly, modification, testing and rework and an understanding of sensor technology and Electronics systems used in F1. The use of power supplies and multi-meters is a requirement as well as a good level of computer literacy so an individual with a high attention to detail is a must.
Electronics Production Technician – The Person
The successful candidate will have demonstrated initiative, a high level of skill in manufacture of precision electronic equipment, and the ability to work to the most exacting standards in a team environment. This position requires excellent communication skills with a flexible and can do attitude. Previous experience of motorsport is desirable but not essential.
