An exciting opportunity exists for a Partnership Strategy Executive to join our ideation team. We are seeking a team player with an aptitude for analysis and problem solving.

Reporting to the Commercial Ideation Manager and working closely with senior members of the Commercial Team, the candidate will be responsible for assisting on the development and delivery of insight-driven prospective partner proposals and pitches to support the overarching commercial and partnership strategy of Williams Racing.

Working in a fast-paced environment, the candidate will play a significant role in delivering best in class, creative proposals that differentiate Williams Racing amongst its competitors and help to secure on-

brand partnerships

Responsibilities of the Partnership Strategy Executive include:

  • Working with the Commercial Team on developing prospect briefs and assisting on the development of high-quality, insight-driven prospect proposals and pitches.

  • Define prospects’ business and brand objectives through qualitative and quantitative research.

  • Identify brand narratives and activation concepts to deliver compelling commercial opportunities.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely present data, ideas and research.

  • Understand and utilise proprietary brand research and syndicated market research tools and intelligence platforms to generate insights that inform activation strategy and solve the challenges faced by prospective partners.

  • Willing to develop an understanding of the sales pipeline to support on outreach and prospecting.

  • Engaged with the sports sponsorship industry to proactively highlight examples and trends within the sponsorship activation space to provide creative inspiration.

  • Ensuring all documentation development is manage efficiently and on time to ensure the Commercial Team can react to market demands.

  • Understand cross-departmental workflow and ensure prioritisation of opportunities is well managed.

  • Ensure clear deadlines are clearly outlined, managed and met.

  • Ensure all materials are delivered based on clear creative briefs.

As a Partnership Strategy Executive you will have: 

  • A minimum of two years within an agency environment either marketing, advertising or sports.

  • Experience of brand marketing within sports (preferably from working within the partnerships space) including an understanding of media values, digital & social media marketing and sponsorship activation

  • A creative approach to sponsorship strategy and activation to support on proposition building

  • Strong workflow manager, highly organised and task efficient

  • Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders and to tight deadlines.

  • High level of IT literacy including MS Office and Adobe Suite.
