The mechanic will work in the race shop to assemble and prepare cars for race events. In this position, the mechanic will be required to learn mechanical procedures and techniques along with component inspection and preparation. The goal of this position will be for the mechanic to operate without direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
The individual will work as a mechanic in the shop and at the race track. The mechanic will assemble and disassemble the race cars and work to prepare them for the race weekend. The mechanic must be versatile to work on all aspects of a race car with focus on front, rear and/or mid sections. At the race track the mechanic will prepare the car for the track by making necessary changes when instructed. As a mechanic the individual will ensure that all components of the car are secured.

About Esses: Founded in 2019, Esses Racing is run by a core group of motorsport professionals with experience in NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA, and Formula 1. We provide premium racing services offering track day and race support, driver development and coaching, race car maintenance/tuning, and engine computer maintenance and repair.
