Team Penske transport drivers are full-time, year-round opportunities driving for our NASCAR series. Our transport drivers are expected to represent the company in a professional manner at all times while working on the road and in the shop. As a transport driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting cars and associated equipment, tools and materials to and from race and/or test venues for race related events. This position requires fluctuating weekday and weekend work based on event schedules; home time will vary.

Team Penske is looking for a talented professional to join our team as an IT Trackside Technician / Systems Administrator. This role ensures proper server and network operations to successfully utilize technology as a competitive advantage. This includes proactive server maintenance, retrieval of data, data syncing, backup/restore, and troubleshooting/repair as needed. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic methods and tools, as well as requiring individual in-person assistance. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:
The Assistant Coach will work alongside the series head coaches and help manage the training and development of pit crews across all racing series. The Assistant Coach will assist with practice sessions, film review, scheduling, and all other coaching duties. This is an in-office position with the possibility of travel if needed.

Team Penske is looking for a talented IT Professional to join our team as a senior level Software Engineer in Mooresville, NC (on-site position, this is not a remote or hybrid position). The role will support the Application Development Team and improve the use of software technology across all racing series. Candidate must adhere to and improve the Software Development Life Cycle and Release Management Process. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and is a non-management position.
Responsibilities:
The test technician will work at Penske Technology Group's (PTG) test lab and should possess prior experience with the operation of computer-controlled test equipment. The technician will work with engineering personnel to conduct vehicle dynamic, aerodynamic, and various research and development testing. This position requires the ability to understand procedural manuals and engineering/CAD drawings as well as using precision metrology and measurement equipment to execute work orders.
Team Penske’s Social Media & Digital Content department oversees the team’s social media strategy and all related content development (photo, video and graphic design) for social, as well as team and partner requests, across all series in which Team Penske participates, providing a unique storytelling and creative opportunity for those in the department.

Working in the aero group, the candidate will use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to perform simulations investigating race car performance. The results from these experiments will be used to identify potential performance gains, guide wind tunnel testing, and develop body surface specifications. The CFD engineer will help make improvements to strengthen the aerodynamic performance of the race car.
Duties:
The individual will work as a mechanic in the shop and at the race track. The mechanic will assemble and disassemble the race cars and work to prepare them for the race weekend. The mechanic must be versatile to work on all aspects of a race car with focus on front, rear and/or mid sections. At the race track the mechanic will prepare the car for the track by making necessary changes when instructed. As a mechanic the individual will ensure that all components of the car are secured.
