Technical Standards & Continuous Improvement Engineer

As our Team continues to grow and focus on continuous improvement of our F1 Team activities, we are now looking to recruit a Technical Standards & Continuous Improvement Engineer. This key position plays a pivotal role in the strategic roll out of a CI culture and builds on the foundations of the businesses wide CI commitments over the coming years towards our long-term Vision. The candidate should have a strong Engineering and Quality background, understanding the requirements of Engineering Standards and best practices.

The Role:

  • Checking of all Design Office drawings to ensure compliance to set standards
  • Responsible for Design Office Standards, creation, and development alongside legality requirements
  • Working with key stakeholders including Production and Purchasing to continuously improve Engineering Standards
  • Standardize processes and actively share best practices
  • Involved with Continuous Improvement Activities
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture throughout the company
  • Develop and implement appropriate data gathering studies. Analyse data to provide evidence necessary to drive improvement focus.
  • Streamline processes through the use of data to improve decision making
  • Support the capture and tracking of issues
  • Analyse metrics to guide and support design, planning and operations departments

Requirements:

  • Completed degree level studies in Engineering or a related subject
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of Engineering / Design Office / Quality Management and Control experience
  • Experience using 3D CAD (preferably CATIA / 3Dx)
  • Knowledge of Engineering Standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of Change Management & Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Proficient level of English language both spoken and written (German language would be an advantage)
  • Swiss work permit or EU nationality and therefore meet the criteria for a work permit in Switzerland
