For our Team Leader Engine Design* in the area of engine development for our MotoGP bikes, you will combine your passion for racing with your expertise in engine development. You will make a decisive contribution to the various engine-specific projects and will always be on the lookout for and implement new technologies in order to continuously develop our engines. THE TASKS AWAITING YOU:
- research, development and implementation of new technologies for our MotoGP engines
- design and development of engines and continuous improvement of engine components
- planning and coordination of development projects including resource and schedule planning
- overseeing the entire product development cycle from concept creation to production-ready product
- cooperation with and support of external development partners
- intensive contact with internal decision makers and departments (project team, design, purchasing, QM, production)
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US:
- successfully completed technical education with focus on automotive engineering, mechanical engineering (HTL/FH/TU)
- several years of professional experience in the field of engine development and in-depth knowledge of the functioning of internal combustion engines
- very good knowledge in a technical drawing program (Creo or similar) and in the use of various project management tools as well as first experience in the management of employees an advantage
- good understanding of English, both written and spoken
- active motorbike affinity reference necessary
- communicative and open-minded personality with a high degree of team spirit, organizational skills and ideally leadership skills
- analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as independent, methodical and accurate way of working
