Team Leader Engine Design MotoGP (m/w)

In motorsport, we always give everything and try to get the last bit of power and performance out of our bikes. But for us to be able to celebrate great successes with them, the bikes first have to be developed - and that's where you come in. For our Team Leader Engine Design* in the area of engine development for our MotoGP bikes, you will combine your passion for racing with your expertise in engine development. You will make a decisive contribution to the various engine-specific projects and will always be on the lookout for and implement new technologies in order to continuously develop our engines. THE TASKS AWAITING YOU:

  • research, development and implementation of new technologies for our MotoGP engines  
  • design and development of engines and continuous improvement of engine components
  • planning and coordination of development projects including resource and schedule planning
  • overseeing the entire product development cycle from concept creation to production-ready product
  • cooperation with and support of external development partners
  • intensive contact with internal decision makers and departments (project team, design, purchasing, QM, production)

HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US:

  • successfully completed technical education with focus on automotive engineering, mechanical engineering (HTL/FH/TU)
  • several years of professional experience in the field of engine development and in-depth knowledge of the functioning of internal combustion engines
  • very good knowledge in a technical drawing program (Creo or similar) and in the use of various project management tools as well as first experience in the management of employees an advantage
  • good understanding of English, both written and spoken
  • active motorbike affinity reference necessary
  • communicative and open-minded personality with a high degree of team spirit, organizational skills and ideally leadership skills
  • analytical, structured and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as independent, methodical and accurate way of working
