The company is looking for a Suspension Engineer.
The designer will be included in the design team of the suspension group and mechanical elements for motorsport cars (GT, formula and prototypes)
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Starting from a suspension layout proposed by the Veichle Dynamic department, the candidate will have to evaluate its feasibility, developing and engineering the various elements, interacting with the other departments (chassis design, calculation office and vehicle dynamic simulation).
- In addition to the design of the suspension system, the candidate will also deal with the definition of other mechanical interface elements, such as subframes, brackets and supports.
- The work will also extend to the automotive sector, developing suspension groups for “street legal” supercars or hypercars.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree and excellent knowledge of 3D design;
- Experience of at least 5 years in mechanical design activities in the motor sport field with Catia V5;
- Experience in managing complex 3d models, and handling DMU analysis;
- Basic knowledge of V-grade simlation software and notions of vehicle kinematics and dynamics would be a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of small parts and commercial elements, used in motorsport and aeronautical applications, such as special bolts, bushings, bearings and bushings;
- Experience in industrial technical design, with excellent knowledge of regulations;
- Availability, motivation, reliability, autonomy, flexibility and good interpersonal skills are a fundamental part of the required profile
